My favorite event was definitely our wedding day.

My favorite event...that was probably Valetine's Day two years ago. Martini's on the top of the Hancock Tower in Chicago. I'll never forget it!!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite event was my sixth birthday party. My parents turned the living room into a secret hideaway, complete with a tunnel entrance (cardboard box).
ReplyDeleteMy favorite event was my wedding day-- how can you possibly top the one day you're allowed to look, feel, and be treated like a princess?! :)

The first event to come to mind is my thirtieth birthday. Instead of the usual going out to dinner and eating cake, my friends and I went to the Crystal Gardens butterfly atrium in Victoria, BC. Not a terribly adult way to spend that day, but I love tropical gardens, greenhouses, and butterflies, so even tho it was overcast and there wasn't much insect action, it was still way more memorable, and we still had cake afterwards!

My favorite event is always Thanksgiving at my grandma's. Everybody gets together and we have a wonderful time. Every year it seems to get better and better. Maybe because I'm older now and I appreciate it more.

My favorite event was my engagement day. I didn't plan this event, but my future (now) husband sure knew how to make it so special for me!

I have so many favorite experiences! But one of them was going to Venice over the summer with a group of friends and splitting our time between visiting museums, shopping, and hanging out on the beach.

My favorite event is our yearly girls weekend in DC where we find a new museum, place of interest to visit each year!
ReplyDeleteMy wedding was my favorite event of all time. We had excellently amazing music, including Europe's Final Countdown, and we had a singalong to Journey "Don't Stop Believing." I had a blast.

My sisters wedding was my favorite event of all time...so far Im sure my own will top it! But it was so much fun and I never thought I would be one to cry at a wedding but I cried like a baby because I was happy. It was soo crazy!

My fav event experience was my birth... now I don't remember it at all but it must have been an amazing experience for my mother!!!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite event experience was probably my wedding day. I mean, what beats that? It was such a great day. I felt beautiful. Everyone I care about was there. Plus there was amazing cake!
ReplyDeleteThe event that comes to mind most is my 8th birthday aboard the achille lauro ship. My mum (who recently passed away) hand made me a fancy dress costume out of crepe paper. I was this little gypsy belly dancer.. of course I won!!

Tacky Party 2001 in college! Yes, I realize it should probably be my wedding or something lovely and normal like that, but come on. Nothing beats a good tacky party.
ReplyDeleteI also am now subscribed to your email newsletter.

it WAS my fifth birthday - my mom set up a safari complete with tent, rub on stickers, and felt pets. SO much fun!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite event experience was one that I planned--a Red Dress Fashion show where we had Macy's donate dresses for the models. We raised money for the American Heart Association and all of the "models" were able to strut their stuff!

Three years ago ten friends from undergrad and I all got together for a weekend in the town where our undergrad university is - we rented a big house and cooked and lounged around and had a blast.

I was in the Clearwater National Forest (Idaho)... My husband and I were doing research. While sitting there one afternoon I watched a leaf fall. As it fell I could hear it hit the branches. That is how still and silent it was. As if that wasn't amazing enough a few moments later my husband said...did you hear that leaf fall? Out there in the middle of no where we came together by a falling leaf.
